About the Project:

A wood router is essential for several tasks when building wood stairs, such as stair nosing and stair edging. A router is used to make cuts in wood in various edge shapes and styles. The router cuts by carving out sections of the wood. It employs various bits on a circular base that penetrates the wood to make recesses, or shave off the edge of the wood to create a particular edge finish.

Start with moisture testing the White Oak wood beam. Then using a wood miser slice the beam into the desired thickness. After going through the miser, the Holzher CNC router will cut out the template for the stairs.

The next step is floating frames for steps.

The end result is a beautiful floating staircase.
